This one is behind me
it’s time to stop and cheer!
Time to stretch and walk outside. I think I will read the paper.
The “Epoch Times” of course.
After listening to the memorials and stories of war on the radio
while sewing the last of my items needing to be sewn this
Memorial Day weekend, I shed some tears. I thought of mom’s and
dad’s who will never know the lives their son or daughter might have had, but for the greatest sacrifice they made.
I am glad my job is done but it is nothing compared to what others
have accomplished. Still, it was something.
Do something each day that will contribute to someone or something other than your own self. Do it every day for the rest of your life and you will have had a life well lived. But even better,
than that, do it with a Bible close to your heart and words from it formed in your mind…remembered. It will give to you not only a good life well lived, but one that is built on character and a promise.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
